Development of technology for manufacturing prototypes of innovative machines for climate and aging tests, as well as for testing under dynamic mechanical loads, adapted to photovoltaic panel testing.

Co-financed by the European Union:

Tasks and activities carried out as part of the project:

The project involves research and development work aimed at designing and creating machines for comprehensive testing of photovoltaic (PV) panels that are innovative on the Polish market.

The scope of the project includes:

Industrial research – conceptual and design work to confirm the feasibility of the concept, laboratory verification of the technology, construction of a prototype machine (TLR level VI) (tasks 1-6)

Development work – testing in conditions close to real-life and optimization of manufacturing technology (TRL level IX) – tasks 7-12

Tasks:

  • Project personnel (Industrial research)
  • Subcontracting (Industrial research)
  • Operating costs and additional overheads (Industrial research)
  • Depreciation – Plant and equipment (Industrial research)
  • Depreciation – Buildings (Industrial research) – not applicable
  • Intangible assets for R&D (Industrial research)
  • Project personnel (Development work)
  • Subcontracting (Development work)
  • Operating costs and additional overheads (Development work)
  • Depreciation – Apparatus and equipment (Development work)
  • Depreciation – Buildings (Development work) – not applicable
  • Intangible assets for R&D (Development work)

Target groups:

The direct entity that will receive support under the project is MTA sp. z o.o. (Beneficiary), which is a small enterprise. In addition to the Beneficiary, the following groups will also benefit from the project (within the target group):

  1. Employees and associates of the Beneficiary
  2. Owners and managers of the Beneficiary
  3. Customers of the Beneficiary, including primarily manufacturers of photovoltaic panels, who will be able to use the developed machines in their production activities.

Project objectives:

The aim of the project is to develop three machines (test stations) that will have significantly better parameters than the solutions currently available on the market. The project will result in the creation of three prototype PV panel test stations, tested in conditions similar to actual use, designed for:

  • climatic tests,
  • aging tests,
  • dynamic mechanical load testing.
