Process automation

Full automation of production and technological processes would be difficult without robots. They guarantee high efficiency, maintain production quality, streamline processes, reduce costs, and minimize losses. Other benefits of automating production processes include shorter manufacturing times, greater flexibility, and more efficient production. The use of robots significantly increases a company’s competitiveness. We can safely say that robotics is now an integral part of industry and its future.

Our services in the field of robotics

In the era of Industry 4.0, automation and robotization of production processes are becoming the foundation of a modern plant. Our company specializes in the comprehensive implementation of innovative solutions based on the latest technologies, such as FANUC and KUKA industrial robots, which are leaders in the field of automation.

The scope of services includes:

  • selection of a robot for a given application,
  • programming of industrial robots,
  • optimization of robot movement trajectories to ensure better machine performance,
  • integration of robot operation with the production line,
  • machine construction and workstation modernization,
  • adding new functions to the robot program,
  • design and manufacture of robot grippers.

Robot customization and programming

Our qualified specialists in the field of automation and robotization of technological processes will integrate production with KUKA or FANUC industrial robots and build a new work area. Based on the procedures implemented in the company, we will construct robotic stations of the appropriate type, with the necessary parameters. Using PLC controller software, we customize machine functions to suit specific production lines and processes.

The development of industrial robotics with MTA. What kind of robots are we building?

We build specialized workstations using robotics systems for production halls of companies from various industries, aware that the use of robot-based systems increases work efficiency and profits. Our offer includes:

  • Articulated robots – newly developed, intelligent robots that mimic the human body. The machines have 2 to 10 rotating joints, which are dependent on the order. Each additional joint or axis of function within a limited range of motion, making them fundamental and essential for:
    • arc welding,
    • material handling (due to the lack of mobility of the machine, only objects within its reach can be moved),
    • machine operation,
    • packaging.
  • In addition, we design and build machines for:
    • assembly of components – riveting, screwing, clamping, pressing, pushing, and gluing,
    • unloading of products from machines after processing,
    • loading of components into machines,
    • operating hydraulic, electric, pneumatic, and servo presses,
    • de-palletizing – unloading goods from pallets and placing them in machine slots,
    • deburring – deburring components after processing,
    • Industrial automation – MTA.

Software for PLC controllers – modern Solutions

We offer comprehensive PLC programming services provided by a team of specialists. We have extensive experience with leading control platforms. Our solutions ensure optimal process control, increased efficiency, and minimized downtime. We provide a full range of services, from creating new programs, through modernizing existing systems, to integrating controllers with other automation components.

FANUC welding robot design

FANUC industrial welding robots are designed for MIG, TIG, plasma, and laser welding. The brand offers both classic articulated variants and collaborative robots for special tasks. FANUC industrial welding robots are equipped with features that facilitate welding work, such as:

  • The hollow wrist design (i.e., empty space in the robot’s wrist area) allows cables (welding cable, shielding gases) to be routed through the arm of the device, which reduces cable wear and limits collisions.
  • Narrow joints and a slim design allow the robot to reach hard-to-reach places (e.g., in spaces between the structural elements of a workpiece).
  • Libraries and integrations with welding equipment, e.g., torch control, wire feeder, interfaces to welding power supplies, to easily integrate the robot into the welding system.
  • Intelligent functions supporting welding, e.g., “Touch Sensing,” seam tracking, adaptive parameter adjustment, or tool position correction.

Characteristics and accessories of KUKA welding robots

KUKA welding robots are specialized models designed for arc welding processes in industrial environments. The brand offers machines with payloads ranging from 6 kg to 22 kg and reaches of up to 3100 mm. In addition, KUKA industrial robots can be equipped with one of two wrist versions. The hollow-wrist version allows cables and gas hoses to be routed inside the arm, which reduces the risk of damage and facilitates manipulation in confined spaces. The in-line wrist variant, on the other hand, has a classic joint design that facilitates the installation of additional tools or sensors, such as triangulation sensors for tracking the weld seam.

KUKA robots for welding automation also offer specialized software and accessories to support your work:

  • KUKA.ArcTech – software for planning closely coordinated welding trajectories and managing welding processes.
  • Positioning modules, linear units, and spindles working together with the robot, which enable more complex configuration of welding systems (e.g., workpiece rotation, motion synchronization).
  • Seam tracking, trajectory correction, and on-the-fly adaptation functions that help the robot adapt to minor deviations in workpiece positioning. (usually implemented as part of an integrated welding package).

FANUC robots and PLC software – smart manufacturing with MTA

The most important element of our implementations is the use of advanced PLC controller software, which is responsible for controlling complex automation systems and integrating all components of the production line. We program FANUC robots and industrial models from other manufacturers, such as KUKA, according to demand – both in terms of movement trajectories and operating logic. As part of our services, we also offer PLC programming, configuration, and synchronization with vision systems, sensors, or other industrial automation components. As a result, our customers receive a fully optimized, integrated system ready to operate in the most demanding industrial conditions.
